Game based learning for K-6. STEAM and Sustainable Development

The "timeline"

In Grow Planet, the students play through different separate areas. You may think of them as "levels", or perhaps "stories". Examples of areas are Cultivation, Recycling, and Energy and Climate Change. Each area involves the student in solving different problems to reach the final goal, and learn a lot along the way.

In this LMS, each area is represented by a "timeline", and this is also where you will find most of our educational content. The timeline presents all the area's game activities in chronological order, as well as some suggestions for suitable activities to perform with the students in the classroom (or outside it). The percentage in the upper right corner of the game activities, as well as the green fill colour, shows the percentage of students in the class who have completed each activity:

When you press each of the boxes, a description of that activity shows up, which you may also easily print out:

You can also press the "percentage circle" to see exactly which students have started and finished the activity, and who haven't reached there yet:

This beta version is currently only available in Swedish and English.
